Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security in our organization is used to prevent any risk from arising due to malware or brute force attacks on our cloud solutions. It offers an excellent antivirus scanner and good web protection as well, which can also be enhanced with the VPN solution and the solutions in cloud.
  • Antivirus scanner
  • VPN
  • Virtual keyboard
  • Backup & restore has serious limitations
  • Password manager provides basic functionalities
  • no 2FA
The antivirus and malware scanner is powerful and spots all the possible threats to the environment to be protected. Also some advanced features such as rescue disk, safe browsing (including parental control) and the premium VPN are great. Room for improvement, as mentioned before, for cleanup features, password manager and also for the basic backup and restore service.
  • Anti malware scanner
  • Premium VPN
  • Rescue disk
  • Reduced filtering costs
  • Improved security
  • Privacy guaranteed
Once set up, not a lot of daily actions are required.

Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security detects and eliminates all threats to the data we store in cloud services. Yes the business performance has increased. We are completely satisfied with the purchase of the tool. It brought us a lot of comfort and safety.
  • Hybrid and private cloud security offering

  • The competitive advantage is the orchestration feature.
  • No dislikes as such
What I like here is first of all that I'm a huge fan of Kaspersky and all of its work because it's a really great product and works well with me. I like all the features in it because now I can manage and backup all my data in private cloud and public cloud which is great and can be managed from one screen

We have been using Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security for the last 3 years to protect our on-premise virtual infrastructure and increasingly to protect these assets as we move them to the cloud. Our current scope is about 35 virtual desktops and around 20 virtual servers which are split across three ESXi hosts and Azure.
  • Single license for on-prem and cloud.
  • Integration with central management.
  • Protection of low spec VMs via central scanning VM.
  • Deployment process can be complicated and not work as expected.
  • Updating to the latest versions is complex and usually requires a reinstall.
  • The Secure Virtual Machines used for central scanning often become unable to communicate with Endpoints.
It is extremely well suited for medium to large deployments of hybrid cloud infrastructure within companies that have dedicated support teams to manage, deploy and update the software due to the nature of the difficulties associated with Kaspersky mechanisms for this. As a smaller company without the dedicated time to manage it becomes more of an inconvenience and does not really offer the full protection due to the inability to update easily.
  • Works with all virtualisation and cloud platforms.
  • Single license regardless of Endpoint location.
  • Central management of policies and tasks.
  • It has negatively impacted our ROI as we have to spend too many man-hours managing the product and reinstalling it.
  • We have had to remove the software 6 months early due to continuing issues and concerns over the protection offered. This has caused us to lose out on licensing costs already paid for.
